Nish explained that DAC meetings occur 51 once or twice a month, are hosted by the Planning Department, and cover projects ranging from small- 52 scale to large-scale developments. Amy also asked about the potential revenue generated from this 53 practice. Nish clarified that the revenue would depend on the fee structure, which is currently under 54 evaluation, using best practices established in other counties. 55 56 Sherry A. asked about incorporating analytics and whether establishing an hourly rate could help 57 determine the fee structure. Nish described how Durham and other counties approach this and 58 discussed how Orange County could integrate similar strategies into its existing processes. The 59 consensus was that the fee should not be set too low. 60 61 Heidi P. inquired about integrating performance measures. Nish explained that incorporating these 62 measures would support the implementation of the Transportation Multimodal Plan, which outlines 63 priorities in alignment with other locally adopted plans.
