32 <br /> • Awarded Community Home Trust$900,000 for the development of twenty-one (21) <br /> townhomes, earmarked for individuals and families earning 65%-80%AMI in Chapel Hill. <br /> Describe the collaboration relationship(s) this particular board has with other advisory <br /> boards and commissions? <br /> The Board met with or attended meetings hosted by: <br /> • Orange County Planning Department <br /> • Orange County Housing Authority Board <br /> Identify any activities this board/commission expects to carry out in 2025 as they relate <br /> to established BOCC goals and priorities. If applicable, is there a fiscal impact (i.e., <br /> funding, staff time, other resources) associated with these proposed activities (please <br /> list). <br /> The Board expects to: <br /> • Publish research findings <br /> • Host an annual community meeting <br /> • Meet with Orange County staff, relevant boards and commissions, and <br /> community partners to identify ways to improve efficiency and efficacy, including: <br /> o Orange County Human Relations Commission <br /> o Justice United <br /> o Central Pines Regional Council <br /> o Orange County Housing Authority Board <br /> o Outside Agencies supported by Orange County Community Development. <br /> • Review the Capital Improvement Plan Scoring Matrix <br /> • Review the Orange County Consolidated Plan for Housing and Urban <br /> Development (HUD) <br /> What are the concerns or emerging issues your board has identified for the upcoming <br /> year that it plans to address, or wishes to bring to the Commissioners' attention? <br /> The Board wishes to emphasize the importance of repair and rehabilitation as an efficient and <br /> effective way to support the affordable housing supply in Orange County, and highlight that these <br /> projects were not funded through the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)as a result of the scoring <br /> matrix. <br />
