Units will be used for households at or below 30%-60 <br /> %AMI, as well as$733,500 for the development of a thirty-two (32) unit apartment building <br /> in Chapel Hill that will provide affordable housing for households earning less than 30%of <br /> the Area Median Income(AMI). <br /> • Awarded EmPOWERment, Inc.$500,000 for the acquisition of an existing rental property, <br /> which consists of eight(8)affordable housing units in Chapel Hill, NC.This project is for <br /> individuals earning between 30%-60%of the Area Median Income (AMI).Awarded <br /> $825,000 for the acquisition often (10)single-family homes located off Homestead Road <br /> community in Chapel Hill. Conveyed three (3) parcels in support of these projects. <br /> • Awarded Habitat for Humanity of Orange County$800,000 for the development of site <br /> infrastructure in contribution to the delivery of seventy-six(76) needed new units ofhousing <br /> in Orange County. Of these units, sixty-four(64)will be affordable Habitat homes sold to <br /> first-time homebuyers earning from 30%-80%of AMI. <br /> • Awarded Pee Wee Homes$166,500 for the development of three (3) residences targeting <br /> Orange County community members who have experienced chronic homelessness or are <br /> currently homeless and have incomes below 30%AMI. <br /> • Awarded Community Housing Partners$950,000 for the redevelopment of fifty-four(54) <br /> affordable rental units serving households earning from below 30%up to 80%AMI.Trinity <br /> Court will be comprised of twenty(20)two-bedroom,twenty(20)three bedroom, and <br /> fourteen (14)one-bedroom units in Chapel Hill. <br />
