I am the lead <br /> sophomore representative which means I represent my entire class and help come up <br /> with ideas for various events from our school. This means dances, spirit weeks, game <br /> themes, fundraisers, and more. <br /> Another activity I commit to is being a driver for the food pantry for Hillside Church. I <br /> deliver groceries and maintain a connection with my clients in our community so everyone <br /> can get the food they need even if they cannot come get it themselves due to personal <br /> reasons. I do this bi-monthly and help around 4-6 clients each time. I have been doing <br /> this since September 2024. <br /> 1 am also a member of the Carrboro National Honor Society where I am involved In the <br /> service and fundraising committees. Through both of these I introduce people to different <br /> ways to volunteer to help further advance the Carrboro and Chapel Hill community. In the <br /> fundraising committee I help come up and create different ways to fundraise for NHS and <br /> various causes in orange country. <br /> Finally a volunteer position I have that helps the global community is my work in the <br /> ENGin program. In ENGin I help teach English to peers my age who live in Ukraine. I do <br /> this for two hours a week and at the point of filling out this application 12/10/24 1 currently <br /> have 66 hours. This program is important to me because especially in the situations that <br /> are happening in Ukraine now I think it Is super vital for our community to do anything to <br /> help another community in need anyway needed. <br /> Past Service on Orange County Advisory Boards: <br /> have not served on a board yet. But, I would love to serve on one. I am also open to <br /> serving on different boards I would love to help my community in any way I can. <br />
