This includes the parks and recreation council, of course I'm a student and don't have
complete understanding but if possible I hope to gain more knowledge overtime.
Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board
As a student I understand the importance of parks and recreation as I've experienced many
activities including sports and park improvement. This is the council where I feel young people
like myself could contribute the most. I hope to have a better understanding of recreation and its
benefits if at all possible. Also as a member of Chapel Hills youth I feel it's important to be part of
our community's actions and this of course includes the council. Even without a say it would
contribute to me and the youth as a whole to be apart of the bigger picture.
How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints?
My participation would add to the diversity in viewpoints as I have taken part in many sports and
events in and out of school. Varying from swimming in a club to ultimate frisbee at school to
baseball in Carrboro and more. These experiences have given a greater perspective across all
ages in the youth community.
Do you have any personal or business interest(s) that could create a conflict of interest
(either real or perceived) if you are appointed to this board?
None
