<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />05/03/2024_CLC Version <br />© OTIS ELEVATOR COMPANY, 2024 All Rights Reserved Page 11 of 22 <br />Supply and install 100-amp 208v shunt trip disconnect equipped with auxiliary contacts. <br />Supply and install piping for main feeder into controller from main disconnect. <br />Supply and install LED lamp guarded fixtures. <br />Supply and install machine room GFI. <br />Supply and install positive earth ground to main controller. <br />No short circuit coordination, arc flash, or selective coordination studies are included. <br />This proposal is based on a new motor same HP as existing. <br />Supply and install circuit and disconnect for 2-way communication. <br />Supply and install piping for phone lines into new controllers. <br />Note: Owner must ensure a single use phone line is brought to the elevator machine room from the <br />main building service connection/demarcation point. This line must <br />be ordered at the start of the modernization so as to be available at time of inspection. <br />Owner to provide demark connection, maintenance and phone line service charges. <br />Any modifications or relocating of card access, CCTV, Security or other low voltage items to be <br />completed by owner. They are not included. <br /> <br />Hoistway <br />There are no provisions for patching the hoist way walls included in this proposal. <br />Any penetrations created during the modernization will be the responsibility of the elevator <br />contractor. Retain the existing hoist way ventilation. No modifications by Otis. <br /> <br /> Pit <br />Separate lighting and receptacles circuits. <br />Supply and install pit light switch. <br />Supply and install guarded LED fixture. <br />Supply and install GFI. <br />Leaving the existing pit ladder "AS IS." <br />Pit ladder will be the responsibility of the elevator contractor if any modifications need to be made. <br />Provide dedicated circuit for sump pump. <br />Ensure operation of existing sump pump. Replace pump "in kind" if necessary. <br />Leaving the existing sprinkler head in the machine room "AS IS." No modifications by Otis. <br /> <br />Smoke Detection and Recall System <br />Note: There are no provisions for any fire alarm upgrades included in this proposal. <br />The owner will be upgrading the existing fire alarm system to a Siemens panel. <br />Otis will provide all necessary conduit and rough in boxes for fire alarm as it pertains to the elevator <br />modernization only. <br />No device installation, programming, or testing is included in this proposal.
