An allowance of $ 20,000 per car is included with the base <br />price. <br /> <br />RETAIN FLOORING <br />The present flooring will be retained. <br /> <br />NEW PIT SWITCH <br />An emergency stop switch shall be located in the pit accessible from the pit access door. <br /> <br />RETAIN SPRING BUFFERS <br />The existing spring buffers shall be retained. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW ACCESS ALERT HOISTWAY SAFETY DEVICE <br />We will furnish and install all the necessary components, circuitry and wiring for a new Access Alert <br />system, which will operate on the elevator car top and pit. <br />Access Alert will be installed so the elevator can be controlled in a safe manner when an <br />authorized person accesses the elevator hoistway. The Access Alert system meets all applicable <br />safety codes. <br />This groundbreaking new product, Access Alert, is specifically designed to: <br />• Prevent work on top of the elevator without the top of car inspection station engaged <br />properly. <br />• Prevents moving the elevator on inspection while personnel are in a potentially unsafe <br />position. <br />• Prevent working in the elevator pit, while the pit stop switch is not engaged properly. <br />• Meet applicable building and elevator codes. <br />Similar to the seatbelt alarm in your car, Access Alert provides a constant, noticeable reminder to <br />anyone accessing the hoistway that they need to engage the stop switch before starting <br />work. We believe the simplicity, ease of installation, and cost-effectiveness of this product will be <br />an important way for you to invest in improving safety inside your facility. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 6 <br /> <br />New flooring is to be provided. <br />A new elevator car interior shall be provided.
