Car and hoist way doors shall be power operated by <br />means of a closed loop door operator mounted on top of the car designed to give consistent door <br />performance with changes in temperature, wind or minor obstruction in the door track. The system <br />continually monitors door speed and position and adjusts it accordingly to match the pre - <br />determined profile. <br /> <br />NEW DOOR-PROTECTION DEVICE <br />Install a new solid state, infrared passenger protection device on the car door. Elevator doors shall <br />be provided with a reopening device that will stop and reopen the car door(s) and hoistway <br />door(s) automatically should the door(s) become obstructed by an object or person. <br /> <br />NEW INTERLOCKS <br />New interlocks will be installed. The interlocks shall prevent operation of the elevator unless all doors <br />for that elevator are closed and shall maintain the doors in their closed position while the elevator <br />is away from the landing. <br /> <br />NEW CAR DOOR, TRACKS AND HANGERS <br />The present car door tracks and hangers shall be replaced with new. <br /> <br />RETAIN HOISTWAY ENTRANCES <br />The present hoistway entrances will be retained. <br /> <br />NEW HOISTWAY DOORS, TRACKS AND HANGERS <br />The present hoistway door, tracks and hangers shall be replaced with new. <br /> <br />NEW HOISTWAY DOOR RESTRICTORS <br />Folding hoistway door restrictors shall be installed. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />HOISTWAY EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NEW HOISTWAY OPERATING DEVICES <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 52FACC74-DA96-491B-B0B8-04AC3961737D
