Welding Rod: <br />1. As supplied by the indoor resilient athletic surfacing manufacturer or supplier. Color to blend <br />with the indoor resilient athletic surfacing color or design. All seams shall be welded to create a <br />monolithic and impermeable surface. <br />B. Provide a manufacturer approved slip sheet that meets or exceeds the moisture tolerances listed above. <br />Full spread applications will not be accepted. <br />C. Game Line Paint Primer: <br />1. As approved by the indoor resilient athletic surfacing manufacturer. <br />D. Game Line Paint: <br />1. Epoxy paint as approved by the indoor resilient athletic surfacing manufacturer. Colors are to be <br />selected from the manufacturers standard range. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 EXAMINATION <br />A. Examine substrates and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for <br />maximum moisture content, installation tolerances and other conditions affecting performance of the <br />Work. <br />B. Examine athletic flooring before installation. Reject athletic flooring that are wet, moisture damaged, or <br />mold damaged. <br />C. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. <br />3.2 PREPARATION <br />A. The following must be ensured prior to installation of the primary product: <br />1. Concrete to be placed a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the installation of athletic rubber <br />floor. <br />2. No concrete or asphalt sealers or curing compounds are applied or mixed with the subfloors. <br />3. Water vapor membrane complies with specification in ASTM E 1745-97. <br />4. Alkalinity test and moisture test must be preformed. <br />5. Smooth, dense finish, highly compacted with a tolerance of 1/8 in a 10 ft radius. Floor Flatness <br />and Floor Levelness (FF and FL) numbers are not recognized. <br />6.
