Testing Agency: Owner will engage a qualified independent testing and inspecting agency to perform field tests and <br />inspections. <br />B. Testing Services: Testing and inspecting of representative areas to determine compliance of installed systems with specified <br />requirements shall take place as follows. Do not proceed with installation of the next area until test results for previously <br />completed areas show compliance with requirements. <br />C. Repair or remove work if test results and inspections indicate that it does not comply with specified requirements. <br />D. Additional testing and inspecting, at Contractor’s expense, will be performed to determine compliance of replaced or <br />additional work with specified requirements. <br />E. Aluminum-framed assemblies will be considered defective if they do not pass tests and inspections. <br />F. Prepare test and inspection reports. <br />3.5 FINAL CLEANING / ADJUSTING <br />A. Adjust operating entrance door hardware to function smoothly as recommended by manufacturer. <br />1. For entrance doors accessible to people with disabilities, adjust closers to provide a 3-second closer sweep period <br />for doors to move from a 70-degree open position to 3 inches from the latch, measured to the leading door edge. <br />B. Cleaning: Clean the completed system, inside and out, promptly after installation, exercising care to avoid damage to <br />coatings.Clean glass surfaces after installation, complying with requirements contained in the "Glass and Glazing" Section <br />for cleaning and maintenance. Remove excess glazing and sealant compounds, dirt and other substances from aluminum <br />surfaces. <br />C.
