Welcome-Ann welcomed the group to our last meeting of 2024. <br /> 2. Introductions and Announcements <br /> a. The group went around the table for introductions. <br /> b. Janice shared Hoyt Shuford's visitation and service time for this Saturday. <br /> b. Dr. Joanne Wilson-Officially appointed to the board on November 19. <br /> 3. Approval of Minutes-Minutes from November 12, 2024, were approved as written. <br /> Director's Report <br /> 4. Staff updates <br /> a. Seymour Center Evening Facility Manager- Kristin Tinnen <br /> b. Seymour Center Evening Front Desk Assistant-Gwyn Esch <br /> c. Seymour Center Program Coordinator Assistant-Jacob Toomey <br /> d. Outreach Coordinator-Kathleen Goodhand will be leaving the position. <br /> Discussions surrounding the future of this position will happen in January. <br /> e. Employment Services - Robert Bradford will be leaving the position. Discussions <br /> surrounding our Employment MAP goals and community needs are planned. <br /> 5. Promotional video filming for R Place and update department website video. Sheila <br /> Evans is featured in the new video. Videos are currently being edited. <br /> 6. Medicare Part D Open Enrollment. Over 500 people have been served during this year's <br /> open enrollment. More stats are upcoming. <br /> 7. Meeting with Town of Mebane: <br /> • The county manager, interim county manager and Janice met with the <br /> interim Mebane Town Manager to discuss service to Orange County older <br /> adult residents in Mebane.The Town of Mebane is exploring options to <br /> provide more services to their older adult population.
