96
Landscape Design in Fiddlehead Corner—A detailed tree survey for the full 90 acres of
Fiddlehead Corner is not considered applicable because the majority of the property will be
retained in its forested state.
For the residential community and roadways, the applicant proposes a tree survey prior to the
submission of final site plans for review by the Planning Director. The applicant expects to use
the tree survey to tailor street, building locations and other elements of the plan to foster the
retention of as much healthy tree and plant material as possible.
A Landscape Planting Plan is part of the submission exhibits. On it are shown:
1. Required Canopy and Understory Street Trees,
2. Required Parking Lot Canopy Trees, and
3. Required Rear and Side Yard Trees for residential lots.
4. Sight Visibility Triangles at street intersections.
5. The estimated number of shrubs needed to provide the parking lot and building foundation
plantings required in the LIDO.
The number of trees shown on the current plans— 375± - will require the provision of 10 or more
species.
The number of shrubs is estimated to be 850.
Landscape Statement 2024-03-20.docx 2
