181 <br /> Phase I Environmental Site Assessment <br /> 5824 Morrow Mill Road <br /> Chapel Hill, North Carolina s <br /> S&ME Project No. 22580189 111 E <br /> The absence of target compounds in the MW-6 and water supply well SW-9 (located on the northern <br /> adjoining property), suggests that the Kirby's American Station Property site had not impacted <br /> groundwater at the time of sampling on January 15, 2021, and March 3, 2020, respectively. Based on this <br /> evidence, Kirby's American Station Property site is not considered a REC in reference to the subject <br /> property. <br /> 7.5 Data Gaps <br /> The following data gaps were identified during this assessment: <br /> The historical review failed to document property use in approximately five-year intervals back to its first <br /> developed use, or back to 1940, whichever is earlier(i.e., data failure). See Section 4.4 of this report for <br /> more details on historical information. <br /> Land title and judicial records were not reviewed for environmental liens or AULs; however, the Client <br /> reported no knowledge of environmental liens or AULs. <br /> These data gaps are not considered significant to our ability to identify RECs in connection with the subject <br /> property. <br /> 8.0 CONCLUSIONS <br /> S&ME has performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment in conformance with the scope and limitations of <br /> ASTM E 1527-13 of the 5824 Morrow Mill Road property, Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina. <br /> Exceptions to or deletions from this practice are described in Section 1.4 and Section 10 of this report. <br /> This Phase I ESA did not identify any RECs, CRECs, or HRECs associated with the subject property during this <br /> assessment. <br /> 9.0 DEVIATIONS <br /> No deviations from the standard were made. <br /> 10.0 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> No additional services were performed by S&ME. <br /> 11.0 REFERENCES <br /> Material references are cited within the report text, unless listed below. <br /> August 25, 2022 16 <br />
