(S&ME) has completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) on the 5824 Morrow <br /> Mill Road property in Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina (i.e., "subject property"). The attached report <br /> presents the findings of S&ME's Phase I ESA which was performed in accordance with ASTM E 1527-13 and S&ME <br /> Proposal No. 22580189 dated July 28, 2022. The purpose of the Phase I ESA was to identify, to the extent feasible, <br /> recognized environmental conditions in connection with the subject property. <br /> ASTM E 1527-13 states that a Phase I ESA "meeting or exceeding" this practice and completed less than 180 days <br /> prior to the date of acquisition or intended transaction is presumed to be valid if the report is being relied on by <br /> the User for whom the assessment was originally prepared and the following components were completed: <br /> interviews, the regulatory review, site visit, and the declaration by the environmental professional responsible for <br /> the assessment. Based on this requirement, this report is presumed to be valid for 180 days after August 2, 2022. <br /> S&ME appreciates the opportunity to provide our services on this project.
