2 <br /> The SAPFOTAC, comprised of representatives of both school systems and the Planning <br /> Directors of the County and Towns, is tasked to produce an annual report for the governing <br /> boards of each SAPFO partner. The annual SAPFOTAC report will be available in spring 2025. <br /> The CAPS (Certificate of Adequate Public Schools) system is updated with actual membership <br /> and capacity figures after the BOCC approves the information submitted by the school districts. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact in approving the membership and capacity <br /> forms. Precise financial impacts in membership and capacity changes cannot be determined at <br /> this time, but changes in projected growth in student membership for the next ten years are <br /> expected to result in changes in future operating and capital budget requests. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: There are no Orange County Strategic Plan Goals <br /> applicable to this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the November 15, <br /> 2024 Membership and Capacity numbers as submitted by each school district. <br />
