Brief summaries of the information from those <br /> interviews are discussed below. Copies of interview documentation are included in Appendix VI. <br /> 6.1 Interview with Past and Present Owners <br /> Mr. Thomas Cheek is the current owner of the subject property. Mr. Cody McMechen of S&ME conducted an on- <br /> site interview with Mr. Cheek on August 8, 2022. <br /> Mr. Cheek's family bought the subject property in 1957. It's use at the time of purchase was agricultural. <br /> Mr. Cheek indicated that no permanent buildings have been removed from the subject property. <br /> Mr. Cheek was not aware of any contamination on or around the subject property. <br /> Mr. Cheek informed S&ME that residence was historically heated via an above ground heating oil tank <br /> (AST). The tank was located where the air conditioning unit resides at the time of writing this report. <br /> 6.2 Interview with Key Site Manager <br /> Mr. Cheek serves as the Key Site Manager of the subject property. <br /> 6.3 Interview with Occupants <br /> Mr. Cheek serves currently occupies the subject property. <br /> 6.4 Interview with Local Government Officials <br /> On August 9, 2022, S&ME contacted the City of Chapel Hill Fire Department via email to obtain information <br /> regarding possible hazardous spills or fire-related incidents in connection with the subject property. The City of <br /> Chapel Hill Fire Department has not responded as of writing this report. <br /> 6.5 Interviews with Others <br /> No other interviews were performed for this Phase I ESA. <br /> August 25, 2022 14 <br />
