2 <br /> RES-2025-006 <br /> Resolution Approving Conveyance of Property to <br /> the Person County Sheriffs Office <br /> Pursuant to G.S. 160A-274 <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Sheriff's Office owns surplus ammunition that is no <br /> longer needed by the agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute § 160A-274 authorizes a governmental unit <br /> in this state to exchange with, lease to, lease from, sell to, or purchase from any other <br /> governmental unit any interest in real or personal property upon such terms and conditions <br /> as the governmental unit deems wise, with or without consideration; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Sheriff's Office has determined that it is in the best <br /> interest of Orange County to convey 53,000 rounds of.40 S&W mm ammunition and 9,000 <br /> rounds of .40 S&W Gold Dot Hollow Point to the Person County Sheriff's Office, and <br /> deems it wise to do so for sale for$10,000. <br /> THEREFORE,THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RESOLVES THAT: <br /> 1. The Orange County Sheriff's Office hereby conveys to Person County Sheriff's <br /> Office the following property: surplus ammunition,more particularly described as follows: <br /> 53,000 rounds of.40 S&W mm ammunition and 9,000 rounds of.40 S&W Gold Dot <br /> Hollow Point <br /> 2. The property herein described shall be conveyed for sale for $10,000. <br /> 3.
