Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 3 The Board adopted a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for four(4)taxpayers <br /> 4 with a total of four (4) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 5 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 6 The Board adopted a resolution to release property tax values for four (4) taxpayers with a total <br /> 7 of four (4) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 8 d. Late Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> 9 The Board approved eleven (11) untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> 10 taxation for eleven (11) bills for the 2024 tax year. <br /> 11 e. Authorization to Utilize Construction Manager at Risk for the Orange County Crisis <br /> 12 Diversion Facility Project <br /> 13 The Board authorized the use of the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery <br /> 14 method for the Orange County Crisis Diversion Facility construction project. <br /> 15 f. Approval of Addendums to Orange County Transportation Services (OCTS) On-Call <br /> 16 Professional Services Contract with WSP <br /> 17 The Board approved Addendums to the Orange County Transportation Services (OCTS) On-Call <br /> 18 Professional Services Contract with WSP. <br /> 19 g. Procurement of Public Safety Communications Console Backup Radio Equipment <br /> 20 The Board approved the purchase of console backup radio equipment for the Primary Public <br /> 21 Safety Answering Point (PSAP). <br /> 22 <br /> 23 9. County Manager's Report <br /> 24 Travis Myren congratulated the Board members. He said the work with the low-barrier <br /> 25 housing workgroup will get started in January and they will initiate that with a community forum <br /> 26 held with Alliance. <br /> 27 Chair Bedford asked for that item to be sent to Justice United as well. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> 30 John Roberts said the Senate voted to override the Governor's veto of the bill that included <br /> 31 Planning and Elections Law changes. He said that Commissioner Portie Ascott has asked for <br /> 32 more information, and he said he will be looking at the elections law changes in detail on <br /> 33 Wednesday and will report to the Board on any impacts in Orange County. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 11. *Appointments <br /> 36 None. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 12.
