Call to Order <br /> Chair Regina Baratta called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm. <br /> II. Additions or Changes to Agenda <br /> Aimee Vandermark informed the CFE that she was hosting a Forest Bathing Session on <br /> December 141h at Clear Wind Farm from loam-12pm. Kristie Mather informed the CFE <br /> that UNC would be holding a meeting to amend their air quality permit on January 17th, <br /> 2025. <br /> III. Approval of DRAFT Meeting Summary—November 11th 2024 <br /> Motion to approve by Matthew Ferguson; seconded by Mark Randall; all in favor; none <br /> opposed; motion passed. <br /> IV. CFE Annual Report and Work Plan -Discussion <br /> Chris Hirni presented the draft for this year's BOCC Report and Work Plan. The CFE <br /> discussed and finished drafting. Upon completion of the document, Kristie Mather <br /> motioned to approve; seconded by Ian Morse; all in favor; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> V. State of the Environment Report-Discussion <br /> David Stancil began by giving a history of the State of the Environment Report and then <br /> answered questions that the CFE had. The CFE discussed and then went around the room <br /> and voted if they wanted to take it on, if they should seek funding to have an <br /> environmental consultant do the work, or if they should coordinate with grad students to <br /> help. The majority of the members agreed they wanted to take it on themselves. Regina <br /> Baratta will send out a survey to members inquiring what they would like to see in the <br /> report and reach out to those that helped with the last report to see if they would like to <br /> come speak at a future meeting. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
