OCHA <br /> Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8). Orange County <br /> Housing Authority (OCHA) operates the federal Section 8 <br /> program, serving households at the 50% and below AMI <br /> level . OCHA administers almost 700 vouchers and currently <br /> has over 650 under lease. Program assistance is indefinite <br /> and lasts for as long as the household is income-eligible and <br /> compliant with program rules. <br /> The HCV Waitlist is currently closed to the general public, but <br /> we have tentative plans to open it once more in 2025. <br /> Alycia Brown ORANGE COUNTY <br /> HCV Program Manager <br />
