133 <br /> DEAPR - Orange Soil and Water Conservation District <br /> • Swine and Dairy Assistance Program - A one-time assistance program for swine and dairy <br /> producers who suffered a loss due to the shutdowns following the COVID-19 pandemic. <br /> Eligible for 90% cost share (up to $100,000 per applicant) for closing their structure. <br /> o Examples: Waste Holding Pond and Lagoon Closure Projects <br /> o FY23 and FY24: <br /> ■ $167,092 reimbursed to two producers for two closure projects. <br /> ■ In Process - Planning for $100,000 to be encumbered for additional closure project. <br /> • Streamflow Rehabilitation Assistance Program - Help reduce flooding by protecting and restoring <br /> the drainage infrastructure of North Carolina's waterways.
