If applicable, BAS sensors will be verified for proper placement and calibrated to ensure accurate <br />system monitoring and control. <br />Piping System Diagnostics <br />1. Examination of the piping system for potential design or installation deficiencies, including <br />pump/pipe sizing, inadequate installation, or improper balancing valves that may impact system <br />performance. <br />Based on the findings, recommendations for balancing, potential system modifications, and repairs will be <br />provided. <br />PHASE 2 – MECHANICAL SYSTEM INSPECTION (OCCURRING AFTER TAB) <br />Mechanical System Assessment <br />1. Qualified HVAC technicians will conduct an inspection that includes: <br />a. High-, medium-, and low-pressure supply, return, and exhaust air duct systems. <br />b. Heating hot water distribution system. <br />c. Evaluating the overall condition of the ducts and piping and determining if any areas <br />require repair, modification, or replacement. <br />d. Analyzing the layout and design of the systems to identify discrepancies between the <br />design documents and existing conditions. <br />Reporting and Documentation <br />1. The contractor will provide a comprehensive report upon project completion. This report will <br />provide enough detail to enable this or another contractor to quickly identify the location of the <br />deficiency and ensure they have the necessary materials to complete the repair in a single visit. <br />The report will include: <br />a. Findings, including areas of concern and discrepancies between the design and existing <br />conditions. <br />b. Recommendations for repair, including materials needed, sizes, quantities, etc. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> <br />MBP (and its subconsultant's) employees will perform their duties outside of regular business hours. <br />COMPENSATION <br /> <br />MBP proposes to provide the services outlined in this Proposal for the fixed price amount of $58,800. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />Services not expressly identified in this Proposal are not included in the Proposal. Additional services may <br />be provided upon mutual agreement of the parties. <br /> <br />This Proposal is valid through December 6, 2024, but is subject to change thereafter and assumes that the <br />inspection will be completed no later than February 28, 2025. <br />All work will be performed in accordance with the standard terms and conditions of the Services <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 78DC9625-2DE6-477E-B5E5-6D6E401AE100
