(“MBP”) is pleased to submit this proposal to Orange County (the “County” or <br />“Client”), offering additional services for the Whitted Complex HVAC Replacement project located in <br />Hillsborough, NC (the “Project”). In addition to our commissioning (Cx) services, we propose to include <br />TAB and air distribution system inspection services prior to the demolition phase of the project. This <br />extended scope aims to enhance the overall functionality and efficiency of the HVAC systems. <br /> <br />MBP will partner with MSS Solutions to provide the mechanical systems inspection and The Phoenix <br />Agency, Inc., for testing, adjusting, and balancing services. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) <br /> <br />PHASE 1 – TESTING, ADJUSTING, AND BALANCING <br />Airflow Verification at AHU and Distribution Level <br />1. Measurements of total air volume delivered by each air handler. <br />2. Assessment of airflow at VAV terminals and air distribution components. <br />3. If applicable, BAS sensors will be verified for proper placement and calibrated to ensure accurate <br />system monitoring and control. <br />Static Pressure Profile for AHU Systems and Ductwork <br />1. A comprehensive static pressure profile will be generated for the AHUs from intake to supply <br />distribution. This will include static pressure readings at key locations throughout the duct system <br />to ensure duct sizing and configuration are optimized for system performance. <br />Updated Mechanical As-Built Sketch <br />1. An updated mechanical sketch will be developed to identify any discrepancies from the provided <br />construction documents. <br />HYDRONIC SYSTEMS <br />System Flow Testing <br />1.
