Gensler | 18 Gensler | 19
About Gensler
Gensler is the industry leader in strategy, planning, and design.
Our Raleigh office of 35 local staff is committed to Orange
County and the broader region. We understand the region and
its evolution. What makes us unique is the global knowledge,
leading research, and culturally diverse perspectives we can offer
our clients. Our local pulse keeps us real and our global reach
keeps us informed and forward thinking.
We lead with strategy to ensure alignment and a cohesive
experience across every channel of user engagement. We take
a design thinking approach to community engagement and
planning, continuously asking “what could be” rather than
simply responding to what is. This discovery process touches
on a wide range of considerations beyond physical constraints
to inform recommendations and understand the impact to
implementation. Often we are aligning the aspirations, priorities,
values, and vision of a wide variety of stakeholders.
We are committed to helping Orange County implement community engagement,
by ensuring that our strategy approach for the Trails Master Plan aligns with your
vision, mission, values, and goals. As people living and working in North Carolina, we
are an integrated design strategy practice focused on enabling transformation. Our
creative and collaborative approach, supported by data and intelligence, enables
impactful change, and evolution of your organization, culture, and the environment.
Our team has experience supporting the planning and growth
of innovative cities in a diversity of contexts throughout North
Carolina, especially in the Piedmont Region. Gensler has
experience partnering with similarly sized County governments
and our public sector experience is robust. Gensler has provided
community engagement and master planning services for
many clients, including Amtrak, Eager Park/City of Baltimore,
Englewood Nature Trail/City of Chicago, Sunrise Tomorrow/City
of Citrus Heights, and most recently with Orange County as part
of the Greene Tract Master lan, as well as Cumberland County
and the City of Fayetteville with the Black Voices Museum.
We understand the needs of city, municipality, and government
agencies are different from the private sector, and we are
committed to using an approach where we listen, learn, and
deliver on Orange County’s mission and priorities.
f.OCNC Experience & Qualifications
Docusign Envelope ID: EA417244-1B08-4F71-884E-045B78625FB7
