We are committed to
helping new staff as they are onboarded to get connected to training opportunities as
they are offered in the communities, we serve to understand equity and inclusion
expectations of the agency’s policies and our work. In our onboarding process with
new staff and even Board members the agency clearly teaches our expectations of
non-discrimination policies. The agency is committed to helping to eliminate racism
as we understand it as a form of trauma in family systems and harm to children and
their need to grow up in healthy environments. The biggest challenge the agency still
faces in our quest to provide these well-rounded goals of programming to include this
needed area is funding. The agency continues to look for funds to help budget line
items that allow us to help families with concrete support needed to address systemic
barriers. The agency chooses to enter the experiences of program participants to help
provide them with not only psychological support towards empowering the individual
but also concrete assistance to help clients gain access to needed resources to
achieve equity.
29764
Docusign Envelope ID: A5B4FFD3-9664-4EA0-9937-6709C85D11FD
