Orange County, North Carolina <br />VHF Paging System Upgrades <br />July 19, 2024 <br />Use or disclosure of this proposal is subject <br />to the restrictions on the cover page. <br />Motorola Solutions Confidential Restricted Statement Of Work 1-1 <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> <br />OVERVIEW <br />This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the deliverables to be furnished to Orange County, NC. <br />The tasks described herein will be performed by Motorola, its subcontractors, and Orange County, <br />NC (the Customer) to implement the 5 site VHF single channel paging system described in the <br />System Description. It describes the actual work involved in installation, identifies the installation <br />standards to be followed, and clarifies the responsibilities for both Motorola and the Customer during <br />the project implementation. Specifically, this SOW provides: <br />• A summary of the phases and tasks to be completed within the project lifecycle. <br />• A list of the deliverables associated with the project. <br />• A description of the responsibilities for both Motorola and the Customer. <br />• The qualifications conditions taken into consideration during the development of this <br />project. <br />This SOW provides the most current understanding of the work required by both parties to ensure a <br />successful project implementation. Should any of the sites change from this design, a revision to the <br />SOW and associated pricing will be required in the form of a change order. It is understood that this <br />SOW is a working document, and that it will be revised as needed to incorporate any changes <br />associated with contract negotiations, Contract Design Review (CDR), and any other change orders <br />that may occur during the execution of the project. <br /> <br /> GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Motorola has based the system design on information provided by Orange County, NC and an <br />analysis of their system requirements. Should the below responsibilities be deemed incorrect or not <br />agreeable to, a revised proposal with the necessary changes and adjusted costs may be required. <br />Changes to the equipment or scope of the project after contract may require a change order. <br />• All work is to be performed during normal work hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 <br />p.m., excluding Motorola and Customer observed holidays. <br />• There is sufficient space, utilities and HVAC available to install the new equipment. <br />• The existing backup power (UPS, generator) is capable of supporting the new equipment. <br />• The existing site grounding meets R56 standards. <br />• The installation of the paging at Chatham Mountain, Eno Mountain, and the Orange County <br />Primary 911 Center will not require any special equipment such as a crane, helicopter, or invasive <br />mounting structures. <br />• Orange County, NC will obtain any MOUs or lease agreements necessary to install the proposed <br />equipment. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: A05892FB-E22F-4F9D-8892-114F73CBF1B7Docusign Envelope ID: 8FA7D053-A257-4BCD-BB7E-4DF984B26C6A
