Orange County, NC <br />Emergency Radio Response Coverage <br />July 31, 2024 <br />Statement of Work <br />Use or disclosure of this proposal is subject to the restrictions on the cover page. <br />Motorola Solutions <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />• Horizontal fire wall penetrations are in place and Freight elevator service will be available to all <br />levels. <br />• Adequate Electrical Service and Grounding are available within 6' of the active equipment <br />locations. <br />• J-hooks will be used to support the coaxial cable above the ceiling. <br />• Riser Space between floors is available. Coring between floors and/or vertical roof <br />penetrations are not required and is excluded from the quotation. <br />• All proposed cable paths are accessible and can be reached with an 8-foot ladder. <br />• Asbestos monitoring/abatement is not required nor included in the quotation. No HEPA or <br />Tenting is needed for any work. <br />• Access panels to allow access to areas inside hard, finished ceilings will be provided / <br />installed by others if necessary. <br />• Patching and painting not included in quotation- access panels should be available for <br />access to the ceiling. <br />• Scaffolding, bucket trucks and/or lifts are not required for delivery of this project. <br />• Adequate off-air, RF signal exists for Public Safety frequencies. <br />• Any damage after installation caused by others will result in a change order. <br />• All indoor coax & fiber installed in plenum space is plenum rated. No coaxial or fiber cable in <br />this quotation is rated for burn survivability nor installed in conduit. For burn survivability and <br />conduit, please request a re-quote. <br />• The Proposed Solution only includes 700/800 MHz channels, additional frequency bands or <br />changes through add/deletion or P25 Upgrades may require the equipment to be <br />reprogrammed. <br />• Phasing is not included in the quotation. This quote provides that work will be completed in <br />1 deployment. Any additional phasing requirements/trips will result in a change order. Any <br />canceled PO's are subject to an equipment restocking fee and any unreturnable equipment <br />due to canceled PO will be invoiced at full cost. <br />• Facility Owner is responsible for all cabling & conduit between DAS and Fire Alarm Panel and <br />is excluded from this quotation. <br />• Fire Alarm interface and programming provided by others and are not included in the <br />quotation. Dry contacts for Public Safety DAS equipment are provided only. <br />• Orange County is responsible to have Fire Alarm Control Panel Relay delivered to within 3' of <br />the PS Repeater and BBU. <br /> <br /> <br />2.4 Change Order Process <br />• Either Party may request changes within the general scope of this Agreement. If a <br />requested change causes an increase or decrease in the cost, change in system <br />configuration or adds time to the project’s timeline required to perform this Agreement, <br />the Parties will agree to an equitable adjustment of the Contract Price, Performance <br />Schedule, or both, and will reflect the adjustment in a change order.
