She said that the name is from Robert <br /> Drakeford, and he was Carrboro's first Black mayor. <br /> Chair Bedford asked if there was an update on this project. <br /> Travis Myren said they are expecting a ribbon cutting ceremony in February 2025. <br /> Commissioner McKee expressed appreciation to Vice-Chair Greene for working on the <br /> naming committee. <br /> 10.
