Chair Jamezetta Bedford, Vice-Chair Sally Greene and <br /> Commissioners Amy Fowler, Jean Hamilton, Earl McKee, Phyllis Portie-Ascott, and Anna <br /> Richards <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT. John Roberts <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Travis Myren, Interim Deputy County Manager <br /> Caitlin Fenhagen, and Clerk to the Board Laura Jensen. (All other staff members will be identified <br /> appropriately below) <br /> Chair Bedford called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All commissioners were present. <br /> 1. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Fowler, seconded by Vice-Chair Greene to remove the <br /> closed session from the agenda. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 2. Public Comments (Limited to One Hour) <br /> a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> Megan Kimball read from the following statement: <br /> Good evening, Commissioners. Thankyou forthe opportunityto comment on the land use <br /> plan. I urge the county to continue partnering with our municipalities to coordinate land <br /> use that supports environmental sustainability and fosters affordable, vibrant <br /> cornmunIties. <br /> Scenarios one and two align with the hard work ourtowns have put into their own plans, <br /> which concentrate development within municipal boundaries, close to services. This <br /> approach supports walkable, connected communities and increases transportation <br /> options, reducing car dependency. Maintainingthe Rural Buffer and the Urban Services <br /> Boundary in Hillsborough is essential to this strategy. <br />
