2 <br /> Revised. 10-3-2019 and 12-2-2019 Attachment 1 <br /> Policy Governing the Selection Process of BOCC Boards/Commissions <br /> Assignments <br /> 1. One "Save" in order of seniority (choosing one board that they currently <br /> serve on and service as an officer is not an automatic exemption): <br /> • If a "Save" is skipped by a BOCC member <br /> — The save process continues through the remaining BOCC <br /> members <br /> — Then, by seniority, the members who skipped are allowed <br /> one pick so that each BOCC member has one position. <br /> • Appointments to regional boards are limited to four -1 year terms <br /> • Appointments to intra-county boards are limited to two -1 year terms <br /> The round robin process will continue as in the past below: <br /> 2. The junior member will then pick one board first in the first round and then <br /> least senior members of the Board will choose one board on which to serve <br /> 3. In the second round, the senior member will pick first, and then the other <br /> senior members to the least senior member will pick <br /> 4. And then it is back to the junior member..... <br />
