Orange County Parks and Recreation Council —Appointments Discussion <br /> 21 The Board discussed appointments to the Orange County Parks and Recreation Council. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 BACKGROUND: The Orange County Parks and Recreation Council consults with and advises <br /> 24 the Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation, and the Board of County <br /> 25 Commissioners on matters affecting parks planning, development and operation; recreation <br /> 26 facilities, policies, and programs; and public trails and open space. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 The Board of County Commissioners appoints all twelve (12) members with representatives from <br /> 29 each of the county's townships plus its municipalities, as well as two (2) non-voting youth <br /> 30 delegates. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 The following individuals are recommended for Board consideration: <br /> 33 <br />
