John Roberts <br /> 16 COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Travis Myren, Interim Deputy County Manager <br /> 17 Caitlin Fenhagen, and Clerk to the Board Laura Jensen. (All other staff members will be identified <br /> 18 appropriately below) <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Chair Bedford called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All commissioners were present. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 1. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 23 A motion was made by Commissioner Fowler, seconded by Vice-Chair Greene to remove the <br /> 24 closed session from the agenda. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 27 <br /> 28 2. Public Comments (Limited to One Hour) <br /> 29 a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> 30 Megan Kimball read from the following statement: <br /> 31 <br /> Good evening, Commissioners.Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the land use <br /> plan. I urge the countyto continue partneringwith our municipalities to coordinate land <br /> use that supports environmental sustainability and fosters affordable, vibrant <br /> communities. <br /> Scenarios one and two align with the hard worm our towns have put into their own plans, <br /> which concentrate development within municipal boundaries, close to services. This <br /> approach supports walkable, connected communities and increases transportation <br /> options, reducing car dependency. Maintaining the Rural Buffer and the Urban Services <br /> 32 Boundary in Hillsborough is essential to this strategy. <br /> 33 <br />
