Following this award, the Board of County Commissioners
approved both a service contract and a municipal agreement for the project at the June 18, 2024
Business meeting. Since then, OCTS staff have been collaborating closely with NCDOT and
DCHC MPO to advance the project, which is now incorporated into the State Transportation
Improvement Program (STIP).
OCTS is requesting approval of Addendum 2 to the existing on-call service contract to authorize
$80,406.97 for the land survey work required for the future design and engineering of STIP project
BL-0139.
