Page 3 of 9 <br />1.Introduction <br />The scope of work for the project includes one installation site and will include Civil, <br />Electrical engineering, and Architectural Design based on the proposed methodology <br />provided as part of Statement of Qualification (SOQ). The objective of this project is to <br />install four (4) Level 2 EV charging stations and one (1) DC Fast Charging station (5 EV <br />charging spaces) at the Orange County Public Transit Services Campus of Orange <br />County, North Carolina to provide EV charging capability for the public transit fleet <br />vehicles. The scope of work is outlined below: <br />Attend the pre-design meeting with County to review the project, in detail, to <br />determine the County’s and Grant’s specific requirements concerning the <br />project. <br />Review existing survey data and as-built improvement plans. <br />Provide utility coordination, including contacting local utility representatives <br />early in the project to discuss the scope to ensure suƯicient capacity exists <br />for EVCS, review utility data and to confirm utility points for interconnection. <br />Coordinate with aƯected utility companies to provide for proposed utility <br />improvements prior to EVCS construction. <br />Provide preliminary field reconnaissance, assessment of site conditions, <br />identify potential locations for utility interconnection, and review grading for <br />improvements to determine optimal placement of the EV infrastructure. <br />Assess power demand for the proposed four (4) Level 2 EV charging stations <br />and one (1) DC Fast Charging station (5 EV charging spaces) <br />Review and code compliance applicable Federal, State, and County policies, <br />building codes, and safety standards relevant to EV infrastructure and grid <br />integration. <br />Prepare construction documents based on approved conceptual site plan <br />showing the EVCS and infrastructure of the project site. <br />Attachment 1Docusign Envelope ID: C9F02BE8-AE2A-4BE1-874D-0AE2AA324629
