We are requesting basic
information about your organization’s racial equity work.
Describe how the agency incorporates racial equity into its goals. (150 word limit)
Oxford House, Inc. (OHI) partnered with C4 Innovations to expand its commitment to
racial equity in the field of recovery. The training program aimed to ensure equitable
access to recovery support for marginalized communities such as Black, Indigenous,
and Latinx groups. OHI's leadership received guidance on interacting with national
recovery leaders and addressing deep-seated structures perpetuating racial
inequities in substance use disorder treatment and recovery. They worked together to
develop innovative strategies to make recovery support accessible, equitable, and
effective, benefiting both Oxford House residents and the broader community.

Continuing staff training remains a top priority, offering employees growth
opportunities and contributing to an inclusive and effective recovery framework. The
aim is to bring about lasting, population-wide changes that guarantee equal access to
housing, services, opportunities, and overall well-being, regardless of race.
Docusign Envelope ID: 9ADEFAD5-C106-45CE-909F-ED02DFA16A16
