Howard Bentley Cecil, Jr. <br />3223 Forest Avenue <br />Efland, NC 27243 <br /> <br /> I, Howard Bentley Cecil, Jr, agree to provide the following services to Orange County to <br />assist in managing surplus items. This service shall be provided at the rate of ten percent (10%) of <br />the final gross vehicle auction price. This agreement shall be valid from July 1, 2024 through June <br />30,2025. <br />Non-Vehicle Surplus processing, posting and selling of assets through GovDeals: <br />Within ten (10) business days of notification by Orange County, I will: <br /> <br />• Collect data and take pictures necessary for the listing <br />• Process the data and upload to GovDeals <br />• Communicate to Orange County when items are ready for auction <br />• Handle all calls for information and previews of the items being sold via email or phone, <br />within one (1) business day <br />• Arrange to meet the potential buyer to view the surplus item and answer questions upon <br />customer request, and within three (3) business days of the request, then <br />• Upon payment verification, meet the purchaser at a pre-arranged time to remove the item <br /> <br />Vehicle Surplus processing, posting, and selling of assets through GovDeals: <br />Within ten (10) business days of notification by Orange County and supporting documentation <br />availability, I will: <br /> <br />• Collect data and take pictures necessary for the listing <br />• Process the data and upload it to GovDeals <br />• Communicate to Orange County when items are ready for auction <br />• Handle all calls for information and previews of the items being sold via email or phone <br />within one (1) business day <br />• Arrange to meet the potential buyer to view surplus item and answer questions upon <br />customer request, and within three (3) business days of the request, then <br />• Upon payment verification <br />-Verify with the customer the name and address for the title, then relay to Orange <br />County Asset Management for title work processing <br />-Allow three (3) business days for title work preparation, or <br />-Mail title work (at my expense) if the vehicle is scheduled by me to be picked up <br />before three (3) business days and the title work is not ready, then <br />-Meet purchaser at a pre-arranged time to remove the item <br /> <br />This contract may be canceled by Orange County or me with thirty (30) days’ notice.
