Last year, we piloted 2
programs- the Bounce Back after-school program and Transitions, an In-School
Suspension support program to serve with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and
Orange County Schools districts. Since 2006, Boomerang has served over 3300
Orange County middle and high school youth at risk of disconnection, supporting
them to stay in school and engage in their education through alternatives to
suspension, mentoring, and after-school and summer camp programs. We have a
proven track record of meeting our proposed outcomes and budgets with the Town of
Carrboro, the Town of Chapel Hill, and Orange County over the last 15+ years.
Currently, our designation as an Orange County Living Wage Certified Employer is
expired; we plan to renew Spring 2024.
Docusign Envelope ID: 1E46DA1E-0260-4212-A023-FEA4EE5C1439
