All students in the school will be <br />involved in creating the play in some way during their art classes—set <br />development, costume design, technical set-up—but the fourth and fifth <br />graders will actually perform and act as the technical crew for the play. <br />Being a major part of the annual school play is something that 4th and 5th <br />graders very much look forward to in their elementary school career. <br />Students will have a chance to develop their presentation skills, work <br />together as a team, learn through written text how to interpret the mood of <br />a piece of writing and its intent, and to build their self-confidence. CES has <br />its own auditorium and there will be multiple shows performed in early 2025 <br />so that the entire school, family members, and community members will all <br />have a chance to view it. These are always sold-out performances.
