<br /> <br /> <br />pdcengineers.com <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ADDENDUM 02 – ELECTRICAL <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: July 31, 2024 <br /> <br />PROJECT: Orange County, NC – Motor Pool and Maintenance Shop <br /> PDC Project No. 15007 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This Addendum, applicable to the work designed below, shall be understood to be and is a change to the bid <br />documents and shall be part of and included in the contract for the above referenced project. All General, <br />Supplementary and Special Conditions, etc., as originally specified or as modified below shall apply to these items. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Changes to Electrical Drawings: <br />1. Drawing E1.04 Detention Center “Clarification” <br />a. Contractor has asked for existing Detention Center Drawings for reference. Note, existing drawings are <br />not available. The contractor shall visit site as needed to review existing conditions to determine any <br />conduit/wire removal between the existing ATS that remains and the Gas Generator that needs to be <br />moved. <br />2. Drawing E1.03 <br />a. Clarification: The existing 100KW Generator that is located at the Motor Pool Building also feeds the <br />Transportation Administration Building Double Throw Switch (DSS). The feeder shall be disconnected <br />from both ends (Generator and Transportation Admin Building) if Alternate #1 is accepted. As part of <br />Alternate #1 the Transportation Admin Building end will require conduit and wiring to be cut back as <br />need to facilitate the new ATS, Generator, etc. for a complete installation. <br />b. Revised ATS location and associated conduit and wiring due to clearance issues in the building. <br />c. Added cross reference note to Detail 01. <br />d. Revised Keynotes 4, 5, 6, 8, and 11. <br /> <br />3. Drawing E6.02 <br />a.
