HxGN OnCall® Dispatch Suite <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br /> <br />HxGN OnCall Dispatch | Backup, Test, and Training <br />Servers <br />Off Site Backup HxGN OnCall Dispatch Servers <br />If the off-site HxGN OnCall Dispatch system performance is expected to match the system <br />performance of the production HxGN OnCall Dispatch system, then the off -site system <br />must be configured identically to the production system. If the off -site database server is <br />going to be a synchronous replica with the primary database server, it must match the <br />primary server configuration. Hexagon recommends that they be configured the same <br />way. <br />Test/Training HxGN OnCall Dispatch Database Servers <br />If the test/training system performance is expected to match the load and system <br />performance of the production HxGN OnCall Dispatch system (for example, used for load <br />testing), then the test/training system must be configured identically to the production <br />system. The test HxGN OnCall Dispatch system is used to test new functionality or <br />updates before deployment on the live system. A training HxGN OnCall Dispatch system <br />is a copy of the live system that is used to train new employees without impact to the live <br />system. In addition to the hardware, if your site requires a HxGN OnCall Dispatch system <br />for test/training and wants that system performance to be identical to their production <br />system, then all software licenses must also be the same. <br />If the test system is not used for load testing, follow the guidelines for a small site for <br />server specifications. Using the Standard edition for the database software is acceptable. <br />If a separate training environment is used, follow the guidelines for a small site for server <br />specifications.
