<br /> <br />TO: Mr. Bruce Woody Orange County Solid Waste Management FROM: Deborah Coakley, Sean Jarvah, Bilgen Yuncu Environmental Services Division <br />DATE: 07/09/24 SUBJECT: Groundwater Monitoring Program (FY 2024-2025) OCSWM South Landfill: TRC Project No. 613842 <br />TRC Engineers, Inc., (formerly Draper Aden Associates) proposes to provide professional environmental services to Orange County Solid Waste Management (OCSWM) pertaining to the groundwater monitoring and corrective action program at the South Landfill, in accordance with an existing Services Agreement between OCSWM and TRC. The subject proposal is intended to encompass services that will be provided to conduct the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 groundwater sampling/reporting events (July 2024 through June 2025). <br /> <br />This proposal is restricted to services to be provided for the South Landfill. Specific tasks to be performed <br />during the service period are detailed as follows. <br /> <br />Task-01 <br />Groundwater Sampling Event 61 (Event 2024 S2) <br /> <br />TRC proposes to conduct groundwater sampling event 61 at the Orange County Regional Landfill - South <br />Landfill during November 2024. TRC shall coordinate field and laboratory services, obtain groundwater samples, review sampling documentation received from groundwater sampling personnel, chemically analyze groundwater samples <br />(Eurofins), validate analytical data provided by the contracted laboratory, update historical summary tables, <br />and prepare a report suitable for direct submission to NCDEQ. <br /> <br />During the subject sampling event, the laboratory will analyze: <br /> samples obtained from seven compliance wells (6801-MW101, 6801-MW102S, 6801-MW104, 6801-MW106, 6801-MW107, 6801-MW110S, 6801-MW111) for the constituents listed in <br />Appendix I <br /> samples obtained from one compliance well (6801-MW105) for the constituents listed in Appendix II <br /> additional samples obtained from well 6801-MW110S for constituents required by regulations <br />Docusign Envelope ID: C2C361F9-7BC4-403F-AB18-95833B796604
