Please also
explain how the program aligns with the Town of Chapel Hill and Carrboro's Human Services Program
Results Framework and/or Orange County's BOCC Goals and Priorities (250 words or less).
Target Population
The program target population demographics table is included as an
attachement on the application cover page. Please download the excel
spreadsheet and fill out the demographic data in the table and then upload it
with your application. Provide one copy per program that you are requesting
funding for.
Program Cost
This cost per individual must reflect the total program budget divided by the
total number of program individuals in this application.
Actual Cost 2022-2023
Total Program Cost (Actual 2022-2023)
326270
Total Number of Individuals (Actual 2022-2023)
79
Cost Per Individual (Actual 2022-2023)
4130
To contribute to the goal of a community that maintains, promotes, and
protects the economic and social well being of its residents while providing
them opportunities to thrive, VFY offers community service, teen court,
and mentoring services to youth who are at risk of being failed by our
community and its institutions. Providing these children and teens with
constructive activities while engaging them with caring adults is a means
of closing the opportunity gap. With changes brought about in 2020 by the
pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement, VFY has adapted its
programs to better address the ever-shifting world children and
adolescents face.
Docusign Envelope ID: 56236DB9-D561-482D-8D02-F9F4FB22B3FC
