We are requesting basic
information about your organization’s racial equity work.
Describe how the agency incorporates racial equity into its goals. (150 word limit)
Racial equity goals have always been a priority for Volunteers for Youth. In 2020, an
equity consultant was hired to help develop an anti-racist action plan, clarify our
mission statement to clearly reflect those goals, and sought and received grant
funding for racial equity training for our staff and board. In the fall of 2022, we hosted
a four-hour training at United Church of Chapel Hill that was geared towards local
youth-serving organizations.
Docusign Envelope ID: 56236DB9-D561-482D-8D02-F9F4FB22B3FC
