The roads <br />are located in Stone Knoll subdivision off the west side of Old NC 86, less than aquarter-mile south <br />of Calvander, Chapel Hill Township. The Board of County Commissioners approved Stone Knoll <br />subdivision in .June 1995. <br />NCDOT has investigated this request (please refer to attached Secondary Road Addition Report) <br />and has submitted the petition to the Board of Commissioners for its review and approval. The <br />Board must take an administrative action to approve the petition to NCDOT in order for NCDOT to <br />accept John Woods Road and Standing Rack Court into the State Maintenance Program. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is nc direct financial impact associated with this decision item. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Administration recommends that the Board approve the request to <br />add John Woods Road and Standing Rock Court to the State Secondary Road Maintenance <br />Program. <br />
