Ballentine Associates Fee Proposal <br />Headwaters Preserve Line Staking <br />30 July 2024 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />2.00 Ballentine Associates Scope of Work for Surveying Basic Services <br />The following survey work will be performed within the survey limits shown on the attached <br />“Survey Limits” exhibit. <br />2.01 Project Management Fixed Fee = $750 <br />2.01.1 Perform office support and due diligence. <br />2.01.2 Project management and quality control/quality assurance of survey services for <br />this project. <br />2.01.3 Survey Project Manager review of field crew as-staked data and CAD files. <br />2.01.4 Prepare a map depicting locations of set stakes. <br />2.01.5 Deliverables: sealed survey in PDF format. <br />2.02 Property Line Staking Budget (not to exceed without prior approval) = $8,000 <br />2.02.1 Recover and utilize existing on-site control by BA. <br />2.02.2 Field crews to stake property line in such a way that line of sight exists between <br />each stake on the property line with a maximum spacing of 100 feet. <br />2.02.3 BA will provide point file containing North Carolina Grid coordinates for each stake. <br /> Total Budget for Surveying Basic Services (2.00) = $8,750 <br />3.00 Scope of Work for Subconsultant Services – N/A <br />4.00 Scope of Work for Potential Additional Services – N/A <br />5.00 Estimated Reimbursable Expenses <br />Surveying Estimated Expenses Budget = $100 <br /> Total Budget for Reimbursable Expenses (5.00) = $100 <br />Total Project Budget (2.00 - 5.00): = $8,850 <br />Notes: <br />1. If a problem is encountered during the boundary survey, such as, noticeable <br />encroachment or overlap of adjoining property owners’, then we will stop work and <br />notify you of the findings. Any work outside the original fixed or budget not to exceed <br />fee services mentioned above will be charged at an hourly rate as noted in our attached <br />“General Conditions of the Agreement” file. <br />2. Any additional revisions beyond the first round of review comments from governing <br />recording agency, additional field location requested, or municipal-required surveys not <br />contained in the above- mentioned scope of work, will be billed at an hourly rate <br />according to the rate schedule in the attached Ballentine Associates, PA “General <br />Conditions of the Agreement.” <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 016C7FF8-5EB3-4D21-A006-0A8906E60E75
