Additionally, she continues to pursue business <br />development and work directly with a portfolio of clients. <br /> <br />Roberta began her security career as a file clerk while working her way through college where <br />she earned a marketing degree from William Paterson University in New Jersey. Following <br />graduation, took a marketing position with one of the nation’s most highly recognized security <br />organizations which launched a life-long security career. Through numerous mergers and <br />acquisitions of security companies, Roberta has worked for international security service <br />providers as well as family-owned regional providers. She values the privately-owned <br />company’s values to think outside the box and cater to the customer. She serves a varied <br />portfolio of clients spanning numerous vertical markets and specializes in providing customized <br />security solutions tailored for each individual customer’s needs. Equally as important, she <br />drives Sunstates’ continued commitment to employee appreciation by leading the marketing <br />team to be creative and forward-thinking on ways to propel employee appreciation and <br />encourage operations teams to heighten their engagement. <br /> <br />Robert Thurman <br />Chief Financial Officer <br /> <br />As Chief Financial Officer, Robert is responsible for the financial stewardship of Sunstates <br />Security, including capital and operating budgets, financial affairs and <br />reporting, debt/treasury management, and overall risk management. His <br />background includes over fourteen years of corporate business experience <br />with the world’s second largest uniformed security guarding and integrated <br />technology services company. His experience includes Financial <br />Administrator, Financial Analyst, Region Controller, and Vice President of <br />Finance.
