On-the-Job Training
Each officer receives site specific training administered by the site trainer or Sunstates manager
before ever performing a duty alone. The number of hours of training varies from 16-40
dependent on complexity of role and individual client requirements. The basis for site-specific
training is the customized, site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual, created
to address all aspects of security officer duties at the specific site. At the conclusion of an
officer’s initial training, the site supervisor sits down with the officers to review all points
covered in training and to have them confirm their understanding by signing off on the
SOPM. At that time the officer is afforded the opportunity to ask for further training in any
areas they believe they have not fully comprehended. Once the site supervisor conducts a
training review with the officer, and the supervisor is satisfied that the officer has been
properly trained, the officer is then assigned to a permanent shift.

Docusign Envelope ID: 08873B1B-BC4C-44E2-88E7-6F159AB20086
