<br />Orange County WCS KCI Proposal <br />15 <br /> <br />Fee Estimate <br />KCI proposes to conduct the scope of work outlined in Section 1 of this proposal on a time-and-materials <br />basis for an amount not to exceed $43,500. This price includes all labor, expenses, and contracted sort <br />labor for a one-season WCS. If the County is able to provide laborers for the sorting crew, the cost <br />would be reduced by up to $7,000, depending on the number of laborers the County provides. Labor <br />will be invoiced at the hourly rates provided below and expenses will be invoiced at cost without mark- <br />up. <br />KCI has also offered an option for a two-season study. The time-and-materials fee estimate for a two- <br />season study would not exceed $39,000. If the County were to provide laborers for the sorting crew, <br />that cost would be reduced by up to $7,000, depending on the number of laborers provided. <br />When contracting for consulting services, what you get is time.
