KCI
believes it is more appropriate to categorize these separately.
Sort Staffing
Based on our extensive experience conducting characterization studies over the last 36 years, KCI has
developed the following key roles for fieldwork staffing. Section 6 includes the specific personnel
assigned these roles, as well as their resumes.
• Field Manager: The Field Manager is the primary consultant responsible for all steps of the
fieldwork from planning, implementation, and analyzing and reporting data. They work closely
with County staff to ensure the protocol, material categories, sampling schedule, and health and
safety plan meet the needs of the County and plan the logistics of the fieldwork. They also work
with the County to coordinate with the hauler to ensure the selected trucks arrive for the study.
Onsite, they coordinate with the load/skid steer operator to sample the load in accordance with
the protocol. They are responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and train
the field staff to ensure all sorting is performed correctly and safely. They are responsible for
data entry and integrity and backing up data each night. Following the fieldwork, they compile
and analyze all data. They draft the interim technical memorandum and final report, which is
reviewed by the project director/technical advisor.
Docusign Envelope ID: 1223AA0B-DDEC-4EBE-8FEA-427010558A5C
