Revised 04/23 <br />1 <br />[Departmental Use Only] <br />TITLE Inspect_Office <br />FY 2024-2025 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT NO RFP/RFQ <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br /> This Services Agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”), made and entered into this 29th day of <br />July, 2024, (“Effective Date”) by and between Orange County, North Carolina a political <br />subdivision of the State of North Carolina (hereinafter, the "County") and F A Jenkins <br />Construction, Inc., (hereinafter, the "Provider"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> That the County and Provider, for the consideration herein named, do hereby agree as <br />follows: <br />1. Services <br />a.Scope of Work. <br />i)This Agreement is for services to be rendered by Provider to County with respect <br />to (insert type of project): Provide and Install 3 5/8” metal studs, 5/8” drywall (hang <br />& finish) 9’ high and approx. 15’ long (to bottom of existing ceiling), paint wall, <br />install vinyl base (approx. 30 linear feet) for new wall, and install/relocate (1) <br />existing door and frame, relocate existing light switch and install (1) new electrical <br />receptacle in new wall. Remove existing wall (approx. 10’ long), patch walls at area <br />where wall was removed, remove (2) existing doors and frames, Infill openings with <br />3 5/8” metal studs & 5/8” drywall, paint walls, install vinyl base, install a new <br />transition on floor at area where wall was removed. Rework ceiling tiles at area <br />where wall was removed (ceiling tiles only, existing ceiling grid to remain as is). <br />Remove and “cap off” existing electrical in wall that is being removed in the <br />Inspection and Planning Department located at West Campus Office Building. <br />Please see attached propsal dated 02/23/24. <br />ii)By executing this Agreement, the Provider represents and agrees that Provider is <br />qualified to perform and fully capable of performing and providing the services <br />required or necessary under this Agreement in a fully competent, professional and <br />timely manner. <br />iii) Time is of the essence with respect to this Agreement. <br />iv)The services to be performed under this Agreement consist of Basic Services, as <br />described and designated in Section 3 hereof.
